Thijs Boekhoff - Founder and CEO

thijsAn entrepreneur and management consultant Thijs brings the essence of the Dutch healthcare approach and the energy to create advanced healthcare solutions for the global market.  He founded a successful management consulting firm, and worked in North America and Europe on business challenges in healthcare, innovation and knowledge management.  Thijs is also the founder and director of a Public Private Partnership that is facilitating Dutch – American cooperation on advancing healthcare solutions in the United States and Europe.  Previously Thijs has worked with Squarewise and Twynstra Gudde. He graduated from the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) in the mid ’90′s. Thijs has lived and worked in Amsterdam, Montreal, Vienna, Rome, and now lives in Mill Valley, Marin County, California with his wife and three children, but is still committed to bicycling to the office. 


Algis Leveckis - CTO

algisAn innovator of technology-enabled business change and a leader in implementing step-changes in business organizations, Algis brings the core experience to build integrated game-changing healthcare solutions.  Throughout his career Al focused on the evolutionary and transformative capabilities of technologies to create innovative solutions for business, and assisted organizations to engage the future vision and achieve the promised outcomes.  An entrepreneur, he founded QuestG, a serious gaming firm, and has also worked across the globe from telecommunications transformation in Africa to new business technology adoption in Brazil and Singapore.   Al has lived in Basel and on both US coasts and has worked for some of the world’s leading firms – Procter & Gamble, Booz & Co., CSC Index.  He completed his undergraduate study and graduate work at MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.  Today Al lives in Marin County, California with his wife and two sons, and enjoys commuting in his EV.


Angèle Pieters – Associate

Angele-black-white-vsA healthcare management consultant and researcher, Angèle brings a structured approach to problem solving, applying principles from both systems and design thinking. She specializes in integrated care, operations and strategic management, process redesign, and innovation. She has been working both in the Netherlands and in the United Kingdom. Angèle co-founded and sold two businesses in the educational field. She will finish her PhD at the School of Economics & Management from Tilburg University in the fall of 2013, and she holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from the University of Technology Eindhoven. Angèle has been living in the Netherlands and in the United Kingdom and moved in 2010 to the San Francisco Bay Area. She is living with her husband in Palo Alto, where she enjoys swimming with the Stanford Masters Team. More info at
